Starry Night

Suzanne Paquette will exhibit a site-specific installation using raw earth materials in combination with hundreds of hand formed components."Starry Night/ Earth Ripple" will be created using soil, limestone and sandstone as both building/drawing material as well as color palette. Paquette will also exhibit two large-scale paintings. The artist works on unstretched canvas panels using a sgraffito technique to cut rippling lines through the paint to the white of the canvas thus using the exposed support to create the light, texture and imagery.
