As an artist my participation in shows and exhibitions began 30 years ago. My first major exhibition was my inclusion in 1971 in the Texas Painting and Sculpture Exhibition, Dallas Museum of Fine Arts, Dallas TX, catalog. In 1974 I had my first major one person shown entitled Works From a Small Duplex, McNay Art Museum, San Antonio, TX. Since then I have been in numerous exhibitions that have placed my work in collections here in the states and overseas. In 2002 a retrospective of ten years, title Selected Works, was put together at the Center for Spirituality and the Arts, in San Antonio TX.


I see my work as a compulsive wrestling with my materials that plays out in a game of intuitive and intentional results. Representations not of likeness but of something reminiscent, may be familiar, episodes and journeys, fictions for inquiry.
